Why me?

Why me?

Why do I matter to my family?

Why do I matter to my friends?

Have this thought ever come to your mind that why me? Why am I important to my family, friends, college, and other connections I have in my life? In a world of immense population, everyone has their own unique abilities. It is easy to lose sight of your own importance. Everyone plays a significant role in the lives and communities we belong to. I would want to encourage you to come along today as we examine why I matter; maybe in my story, you'll see a mirror image of yourself.

I am not as bright a student as I am supposed to be. I repeated the nursery class maybe three times. The first time I failed, but fortunately or unfortunately, I passed nursery class in my third attempt with high grades. My family thought I was a brilliant student. They also put it in my mind. Time passed, and I got good marks in every class. But with time, my difficulties increased. I never remember a lesson easily. I used to memorize the same lesson for hours. My mother has played a lot of roles in my success. She used to make me work late into the night. With time, I started to realize that I am a normal student who finds it difficult to remember lessons. But by then, I had achieved a lot. I got used to taking the first position in school. These achievements created many dreams for me. I became more and more important to my parents. He used to fulfill my every wish so that I could achieve more in my life. I dreamed of studying higher secondary school certificate education at Government College University Lahore, one of the best colleges in Pakistan, since Class 8. I finally reached class 9 and prepared well for exams. Maybe two course exams had just taken place when the Corona virus broke out in Pakistan and exams were postponed. In class 10, only optional subjects’ exams were conducted due to the Corona virus. Most of the students scored very impressive marks, with many of them scoring full marks for the first time in history. The dream of getting admission to Government College University Lahore almost broke after these results because the merits of this college are extremely high, and seats are limited. But luckily, there was a test and interview for selection. I passed both and took admission. Then I realized that "dreams do come true." It was a proud moment for me, as I was the first person in my family to study at Government College University Lahore. I really enjoyed my two years studying there.

I have had a habit of tinkering with things since childhood. Sometimes it starts with repairing a toy, sometimes something else. Due to this, there is a habit of understanding things by oneself. Still doing small household chores like changing sockets, switches, etc. All these works get the attention of my parents. My inner abilities attract people to me. I respect my parents and follow their advice, so I value them. They even consider me more trustworthy than my elder brother. I was interested in technical things, so I completed a higher secondary school certificate and enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, which is going well so far.

Because I am a funny person, people are attracted to me. I have an exceptionally good and funny relationship with my friends. We seamlessly balance fun and responsibility. During exam season, we form study groups, making sure we all stay on track. But we also are available for fun, like our annual game night, which always ends in laughter and friendly competition. It is this combination of support and fun that makes my friendships invaluable. Beyond the laughs, we rock for each other during tough times.
